Deadly Attraction

^ It just had to be done

So I just got some rare earth magnets from K&J Magnetics

I'm using these extremely small magnets on my tank turrets. This keeps them in place and still allows them to be turned any which way I want.

they also enable easy turret swaps between chassis

Needless to say I will be outfitting my entire armored force with thees.

And to close a preview of some terrain and a unit I've started painting, one of which will be the focus of my next post.

This is my first batch of 6mm miniatures from ground zero games, from their Dirtside and future war lines. I plan on using them with the Dirtside 2 set of rules from GZG whenever I can muscle some of my friends/roommates into it. Still not sure what paint scheme i'm going to use but something will come to me.
And now for some more pics

                                                        One of each element

Part of the mechanized infantry platoon

                                                                    And a quarter for scale

And for more scale some infantry next to a 28mm scale figure

Welcome

To the Assembly Point my miniatures/wargaming blog: here I will document the various projects I undertake, mostly having to do with 6mm games like Dirtside II and a number of space ship combat games, although I may also touch on Warhammer Fantasy and several terrain pieces. I hope you enjoy the read.
